I got this for my husband, he was ALL KINDS of things in 21 years. First he worked as a tech in the Flight Surgeon's Office. Then someone tagged him, and he would disappear for weeks and months at a time. It was a hard time for him. Then came the Gulf War, and all the crazy medications and exposures to things - and they denied Gulf War Syndrome forever. Then since "Only The Good Come North" (Minot) had a FSO that was falling apart. The NCOIC was being led out in handcuffs when he got there. HE had been groping and grabbing the females so badly, they court-martialed him. My husband got the Flight Surgeon's Office reorganized, functioning, training getting done, duties carried out properly, and that made everyone happy. Nobody likes chaos. He was flight-crew qualified on multiple helicopters - he was a Dustoff medic. Fly out, people shooting at you, retrieve who needs retrieving, still being shot at, then off and out of there, while my husband began to examine who ever they'd picked up, and start fixing him up. He did SO many hours of Search and Rescue/Retrieval - at Shaw in SC, looking down into the swamps, and at Minot, over seemingly endless fields of snow, looking for people stuck by blizzards. I think there is so much more, I couldn't be more proud of him - he's my hero.
